Public Health in Las Tunas Encourages Mothers to Breastfeed Their Babies

Undoubtedly, an important piece of news about breastfeeding will be the creation of a human milk bank in Las Tunas, Cuba, a Latin American country with the best results on this issue, according to a survey by the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO). Las Tunas .- Encouraging mothers to breastfeed their babies up to a minimum of six months; and the rest of the family to support them in this act, is part of a larger program on breastfeeding that is carried out in Las Tunas eastern province.

Rural Folkloric Party in Las Tunas Next June

Las Tunas-  The 44th Cucalambeana Folkloric Party will be held in this city, capital of the province of the same name, from next June 29 to July 2.

Besides paying tribute to the bucolic poet Juan Cristobal Napoles Fajardo, El Cucalambe, the main purpose of the festivity is to honor the bicentenary of Mexico, Bolivia, Argentina, Ecuador, Paraguay, Venezuela and Chile.
